I made all 3 tests with the full license and with the port sharing option. I tried many port splitting software, yours is the only one without any problem or latency. It helps me using logging, contesting, SDR band monitoring, digital mode and CAT software at the same time.
Many Ham radio applications can control the operation of transceivers which allows for greater control of the many layered menu controls often found in modern equipment.
The weather station communicates to my PC via a serialport and as there was no way of physically splitting the output of theweather station, it would have to be done via software.
This year I think to buy another application-software for logging on route. The problem is, only one program at the time can access the GPS-Data without using a second GPS-receiver.
Most, if not all, newer amateur radio transceivers can be computer controlled now. There are many programs which take advantage of this feature, and offer various interfaces to do many things such as change frequency, filters and other controls.
