One our customer informed us about the successful use of USB over Network with Sentinel UltraPro and ESX VMWare Server. His story is below.

The Sentinel driver custom install options show 3 components: a server component, a USB driver component and a parallel component;  I initially deselected the parallel component - (I like minimal garbage on our systems).  It appears the USB dongle requires some part of the parallel drive component for the proper operation of the dongle/software key. With the parallel component deselected we could not get the dongle to work on a stand-alone PC (without USB-Over-Network), and eventually (accidentally ?) did a full load and bingo!!! I will question Sentinel about this behaviour, but for the moment I'm just glad to have a functional system.
