Title: Can't Connect To Remote Computer
Post by GiffyJo on Jul 29th, 2008, 4:55am
Ok heres te situation, I have my main computer with a webcam plugged in aimed at my front door. Which has the server installed on. And I have me upstairs in my office working on my laptop with the client installed.
I can find the main computer but when i click next it says

"Can't Connect to remote computer.

Possible problem could be either:
-remote computer is not accessible over the network;
-USB over network Server is not installed/running on remote computer;
-incorrect TCP-port settings."

Any help?
I know it is installed and running and its the same TCP-port number.

Thanks all help is much appreciated

Hi,

Let's try to install Client and Server on the same PC and check if it works locally.

If it works it means that server side is OK and the problem is on the client side.

Also, be sure you installed Client and Server from the same package (the same versions).

Thanks!
