Title: Sharing hasp with V3.4
Post by swoolhead on Jun 6th, 2008, 8:02am

I've been trying to make V3.4 work to share a few HASP dongles.

I've tried:
Vista x64 - Able to share hasp but CPU 100% (upgrade from 3.3.10)
XP sp2 x86 - Does not see HASP dongles
2003 sp2 x86 - Does not see HASP dongles

Any idea what I'm doing wrong!

Stephen.

Ahh, appears that you must have the HASP driver installed locally on the server, was hoping to skip that step.  2003 machine works fine now, the Vista x64 machine is still a disaster.

USB device driver must be installed on the PC where USB over Network Client is installed.

On the Server side (to which USB device is physically plugged) you can avoid installing drivers. Just enable option "Share USB devices automatically".

Thanks!
