I want to share an Epson V350 scanner in a small (5 PC) office. To use on 1 PC one needs to install the driver (TWAIN) before connecting the scanner. If I use USB over Network do I need to install this software on all clients?

Yes, you need to install scanner drivers (software) on all clients.
