1   Serial Port Solution / Serial Port Control / sending binary data?  Jul 17th, 2008, 3:27am

How can I send int8 data with the Write method. The method is sending only chars. If I send "0" it is sending the ASCII code 48. So I have to subtract 48 every time I want to send a null or another number between 0 an 9. Sorry if the question is too simple, but I am at the beginning with all these stuff.
Thank you!!!

Hi,

I’ve tested several COM Port Splitters primarily aiming at COM port sharing between my applications and honestly speaking yours was definitely better, thank you for the updated version, specifically for that I can join COM ports via command-line. Your Com Port Splitter eased my tasks, great job, guys!

3   Serial Port Solution / Network Serial Port Kit / Reconnection Issues  Jul 14th, 2008, 4:04pm

I've got version 5.4.  When one end with the port shared goes down, the end that connects to the port sits on "Connecting" and does not reconnect.  This happens when the connection is broken for more than a minute (computer restart).

Is there a way for the reconnection to happen successfully if one end is down for an unknown amount of time?

- Thanks

5   Serial Port Solution / Network Serial Port Kit / Re: Linux support  Jul 11th, 2008, 2:24pm

Hi there - was there ever any progress on this? My customer needs this for their product. It appears that you use a proprietary protocol on the socket - is there a way to connect to a raw socket with no handshake/protocol? I have that working on the Linux side. Alternatively is there a way to get the protocol details?

Thanks,

Brad.

Just contact our support team and ask them for evaluation license key for more than one USB device. And check how it works for you.

Thanks!

I would be using it for dongle sharing. Dongles are checked every 30 minutes.

If you get to the point where you would like some field testing done please let me know.  Wink

hi andrew

>OK, it's interesting to try use another Win2003 Server.
I installed an other virtual machine (this time win2003): same probelm as on the XP virtual machines.

>Also it would be great if you can test it on non-Win2003 Server, e.g. XP. Just to locate the issue.
the other virtual machines where winXP.

>Please also try this version:
